Affordable Skincare: Mario Bedescu

Not to bring you back to high school, but the skin is the largest organ you have. Obviously, you have it for the rest of your life, so taking care of it is super important. Our skin is also the largest barrier against infection. A Skincare routine is important because it helps the skin do its job better and for a longer time. Keeping our skin healthy and moist helps keep this barrier strong. I tell people often that you should definitely spend a good amount of your beauty budget on skincare items. Now with that being said these items can be a bit pricey. So I have a brand that you should try if you are trying to save those coins, by Mario Bedescu.

This post is just my opinion, nothing more, nothing less. Just like all my posts are. I stress that you can try these products yourselves, everything doesn't work for everyone. I usually use Mario products more often than anything else. I can honestly say that these products are very good for the price. Here are my picks from the line:

Although there are products for certain skin types, most of the products are for combination with oily skin. This is good because that is the most common skin type, so it's not too hard to find something for you. They have a Cleansing Enzyme Gel that is really awesome. It helps to brighten (not a great deal, but plenty) the skin while exfoliating (AHA formula, which is the shedding aspect). All of the products are gentle but they also soften, not to sound cliché, but your skin will feel like a baby's bottom. Then there is the Cucumber Cleansing Lotion. Not a necessity but another good skin product. I say not a necessity because it's like another cleanser. I will say that it gives your face some clarity. I suggest you put a layer of raw honey on after, let sit for 10-15 minutes and rinse off. Honey for acne is antibacterial and for aging it has antioxidants.

If I don't recommend anything else, I recommend the Aloe Moisturizer. That stuff is the bomb. When I am low on cash I make sure I at least buy the moisturizer. I can't rave about this enough. It has SPF 15 and is very hydrating which are some of the things I look for in a moisturizer. Also, helps with skin irritation/inflammation. I recommend two things: using it before makeup application (they actually say that on the website too) and putting cucumbers on your eyes to help with reducing puffiness and closing pores. It's definitely not greasy at all either so it won't HELP to clog your pores in the first place!

The last product is the Facial Spray with Aloe, Cucumber, and Green Tea.
This is a nice product to use after makeup application and/or throughout the day. There's this nice cooling feeling it gives you, of course, it refreshes your makeup. There is also a nice Aloe, Herb and Rosewater spray that I like too, It's to be used just as the other one. I actually suggest you keep them refrigerated to help restores suppleness (leaf extract) to the skin.

Hope this post helps anyone
